It is time to vote for your favorite Gray sibling to be their heir of Generation 4. There are five lovely sims to choose from:

From left to right: Alistair, Pandora, Bailey, Scarlett and Ken.

KenGray

Ken Gray is the oldest of the Gray siblings. He is a triplet along with Scarlett and Bailey. He has assumed the role of protector of his siblings and stands firm with his ideals and beliefs. Despite the sudden disappearance of his mother, Ken has grown up into a strong and respectable human being. He has vowed to protect his family, no matter what the consequences. Ken’s disposition is calm and collected unless his pride is trampled on, in which case he can get testy. Ken is a loner. He has pushed many people away. It will take a strong willed person to break down the wall Ken has set up, but in the end it will be worth it because you will not get a friend more genuine than Ken. He hasn’t figured out what he wants to do in the future, but it may involve him heading to university to get a degree in medicine. His bond with his imaginary friend Ryder has quickly tapered off…which could eventually prove to be lethal.

Fatal Flaw: In the pursuit of protecting his family, he may lose sight of his own well-being. Ken may put himself in danger to protect those he cares about.

“Where am I?” Ken stood up and looked around.

“Ahh! You’re awake!” Ryder exclaimed, rushing up to the metal bars. “Finally, I was beginning to get worried.”

“Ryder?” Ken stammered. “You’re real. So that means, last night wasn’t a dream?”

“It was all reality,” Ryder confirmed. “Are you hungry?”

“Yeah, but…why am I locked up? Are you going to let me out?” Ken asked.

“Negatory.” Ryder turned his back to Ken. “I can’t do that. You put yourself in serious danger last night. You could have died. I’m not letting you out of my sight.”

“My sisters are still out there!” Ken shook the bars. “This isn’t funny, let me out.”

“This isn’t a joke.” Ryder turned to face Ken once again. “I almost lost you once, and I will make sure it doesn’t happen again. You’re staying where I can keep an eye on you, forever.”

“My sisters,” Ken repeated. “Please.”

“They’re on their own, Ken. I love you, I will not be losing you. Not ever!” Ryder said firmly. “But don’t worry. You have everything you need in there. A bed, a private bathroom, some books, ample room to run around…”

“What about food?”

“I’ll bring you three meals a day, and I’ll come inside to play with you every once and awhile, it’ll be fun,” Ryder said.

“Ryder…I thought we were friends. I’m not your pet!”

Ryder shook his head. “You will be my pet if it means protecting you from yourself. You don’t need anything but what I’ve given you. You have me, and that is more than enough.”

scarlettgray

Scarlett Gray is a tortured soul. She has taken her mother’s disappearance to heart. She doesn’t understand how life around her continues to move on as if her mother never even existed. Her siblings seem to have moved on, but Scarlett doesn’t know if she can. She doesn’t believe that she deserves happiness, especially because she couldn’t do anything to stop her mother from leaving. When Scarlett was thirteen, she used a potion to bring her imaginary friend, Night, to life. He has been her support system through this tough time and has made it his mission to see her smile. Scarlett is shy and wants nothing more than to blend into the wall. She hates unnecessary attention, and even more, hates huge crowds. She’s happy with who she has in her life right now. She doesn’t want to drag any outsiders into the confusion. Once Scarlett is able to overcome this dark time, she will no doubt be a very passionate and nurturing person. Will Night be able to break down the wall?

Fatal Flaw: Scarlett has guarded her heart and despite the love she receives from her family, she doesn’t think she can truly be happy. Because of her low self-esteem, she may end up pushing away the one person who cares the most about her.

“Scarlett, I’m home!” Night called through the door. “Your dad is stopping by later to help us settle in. I still can’t believe that we’re living together, on our own. This is exciting.” NIght could only hear the sound of a knife hitting the cutting board, a sound he had often associated with Scarlett. She didn’t answer. “Scarlett?” Night poked his head into the kitchen. His suspicions were proven when he saw Scarlett preparing a meal.

“Hello Night,” She said softly.

“What’s wrong?” He frowned. “This is an exciting time, but you’re not happy.”

“I’m really happy,” Scarlett said in the same deflated tone. “Truly, I am.”

“No….you aren’t.” He approached her and held her tightly. “Stop pretending that you’re okay, when you’re not. Please, just talk to me.” Scarlett didn’t say anything, but Night could see the tears hitting the cutting board under her. He slowly turned her around to face him. “Scarlett…”

“Just leave me alone!” She said angrily. “I’m fine!”

“No, you aren’t!” Night said firmly. He pulled her close to him. “I love you Scarlett. No matter what you do or say, I will never leave you. I care so much about you.”

“Where’s my brother?” Scarlett tried to blink back the tears but they ended up streaking down her face. “This is my fault. Everything is falling down around me. What am I supposed to do? I can’t do this…”

Night leaned in and kissed her forehead. “I’ll be here every step of the way. Don’t worry, you don’t have to do this alone.”

She looked up at him, fear evident in her brown eyes. “You promise that you won’t leave me?”

“I’ll never leave you.”

BaileyGray

Bailey Gray is a sweet but naive girl. She was abused as a child by her stepfather and has been scarred ever since. She was hit because she looked like her biological father and not her mother. This has made her feel terrible about being different, even if her family has encouraged her uniqueness. Popularity has always been a goal of Bailey’s, even more so amplified by her past. She is willing to go to great lengths to be recognized and accepted in society. She has yet to realize that being herself is what really counts. Bailey, unlike Scarlett, wants nothing to do with her biological mother. In her eyes, her mother stood by and did nothing as Bailey was being abused. Bailey is perky, lively and radiant, but sometimes she tries too hard. Her friendship with her imaginary friend, Amelia has been put on the backburner throughout her high school years as she had tried to reach the top of the food chain through the popular girl Kristen. Bailey must avoid losing herself, will she be able to do it?

Fatal Flaw: Bailey is willing to give up her some of her ideals to get recognition and appreciation. By doing this, she may lose sight of who she really is and what life is all about.

If you choose Bailey:

“Let’s go and mingle!” Amelia said excitedly. “Look at all of these handsome rich men.”

“I don’t really want to.” Bailey sighed. “I much rather just stay here.”

“This is not the Bailey I know! I thought that this is what you wanted. Fame, glory, attention…” Amelia sighed dreamily. “And it’s all thanks to me. You’re welcome.”

“I thought this is what I wanted, but now I’m not so sure.” Bailey looked onwardly at the sea of people, swarming around her painting. She had painted the infamous “yellow girl” and to everyone’s surprise, she was real, and actually yellow.

“Stop getting cold feet!” Amelia scolded. “Tons of people would kill to be in your position. Now, sit up and smile, the paparazzi are coming over to take our pictures. If you’re going to be pouting the entire time, move away from me. I don’t want your frown in my glamour shot.”

Bailey rolled her eyes. “Glad that my painting could make you famous. You know, I painted it. I should be getting recognition for my work, not for your yellow skin.”

“Boohoo, cry me a river, and then drown in it. Bailey, you’re the one who forgot about me all those years, and yet I still came back and made YOU famous. DO you see how much I care about you?” Amelia poked her cheek. “I’m a good friend.”

“You did this for you, not for me.”

pandoragray

Pandora Gray is a late addition to the Gray family. She was genetically merged and given to Mason, the Gray family’s mortal enemy to raise. At the age of thirteen, Pandora found out the truth about her real parents, who didn’t even know she actually existed. She approached Mason with the thought of meeting them, and instead of helping her out, he tossed her aside, completely abandoning her. Fortunately, Apollo and Ethan welcomed their daughter in with open arms. Her past is still a mystery, one that she is fearful about telling her new family. Pandora has adjusted to her new life quite well. She has obtained a boyfriend whom she loves dearly. She is energetic and blunt. She doesn’t skirt around the truth. She tells you what she means without all that extra fluff. Can she overcome her past, and create a new future?

Fatal Flaw: Much is still unknown about Pandora’s past. This could prove to be a very dangerous mystery.

If you choose Pandora:

“Pandora!” The girl whirled around, coming face to face with her worst nightmare.

“Mason…” She breathed. “No.”

“Oh, I’ve always known that my little princess would come back to me. I’ve missed you so much. I’m glad that you’ve finally realized the error of your ways,” Mason cooed. “Did they hurt you?”

“Shut up,” Pandora said angrily. “You know that you don’t mean that! You don’t care about what happens to me!”

“That’s not true, if it was, you would have been dead by now. Sneaking into my house, searching through my files…you don’t think I would have been oblivious to all of that do you? I purposefully disabled all of my traps because I knew it was you.” Mason smirked. “And I’m glad that you’re finally here.”

“Why?” Pandora asked. She shouldn’t have been talking to him, she should have gotten out as soon as she possibly could. Her dad had warned her about Mason, and yet she couldn’t stay away from the guy who had raised her. “You’re not my father, so just stop.”

“Say what you want about me, but I do have something that you need, that’s why you’re here, correct?” Mason wore a malicious smile, as if he had cornered Pandora. “You think that I have information that can help save your siblings, and you’re correct. I can help you.”

“I already have the information that I need, you were just a little late in stopping me,” Pandora sneered.

“Was I?” Mason began to laugh. “No, I was just securing Alen in his cell. I wouldn’t want my future son-in-law to be uncomfortable.”

“You didn’t…” Pandora clutched the nearest thing to steady herself.

“Oh, I did and Alen will die unless you do exactly as I say, princess.”

AlistairGray

Alistair Gray is the youngest of the Gray children. Similar to Pandora, he was a genetic merger, sharing the genes of both of his dads. Alistair happens to be a witch. He is rougher around the edges than the other kids, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have a great heart. Alistair has little patience for those who think that they’re entitled. He doesn’t care for anything more extravagant than what he needs. Jeans and sneakers are fine by him. He enjoys reading manga, watching anime and playing video games in his spare time. Alistair, surprisingly works efficiently under pressure and you will find him tirelessly trying to improve his magic skill. More than anything in the entire world, Alistair can’t stand when an innocent person gets hurt, and that’s why with his magic he will assume the position of hero that he so often sees in his cartoons. He wants to see the end of useless violence, and he’ll do everything he can to level the playing field.

Fatal Flaw: Alistair may be biting off more than he can chew. His desire to save the world may end up hurting him, or someone he loves if he crosses paths with the wrong person.

“Who are you, and why are you in my lair?” Lucas asked the young male. “How did you even get in here?”

“I broke the seal,” Alistair answered.

Lucas look at the male in disbelief. “There’s only one other person in existence that can do that.”

“Ethan Nair, yeah he’s my father,” Alistair chuckled. “He taught me everything that he knows.”

Lucas suddenly stood up from the rocking chair he had just been sitting in. “How? Ethan is gay, there’s no way he could have children, and only with his blood that you could be a witch.”

Alistair cracked a smile. “I’m like a test tube baby from the future. It’s weird, but also pretty sweet.”

Lucas let out a breath. “I don’t have any reason not to believe you, but you are here for a reason, what is it exactly that you want?”

“I want you to teach me everything that you know. This Damian guy needs to be stopped, and I want to be the one to do it.”

“I can’t do that,” Lucas said. “I don’t pass my knowledge on to others, not even my own grandson.”

“Grandson?” Alistair asked in shock. “Then that’s even more reason! Listen to me, that man has tortured my father, both of them. He’s out there, planning to do it to others as well, I can’t just stand back and let that happen. If you don’t help me, then I’ll figure out a way to do it myself. You’re supposed to be looking out for your people, but you seem to be letting Damian step all over you. Grandfather or not, I can’t let you lead your people into darkness.”

Lucas ran his hand through his long hair. “You really are Ethan’s son. The passion that you possess, it reminds me of him when he was younger. It’s truly incredible what you’re trying to do, but it’s not possible. You need to step off your high horse, not even I can put Damian in his place. But, I admire your drive. I stand by my word, I cannot help you, but if you need a place to stay while you’re here, my home is open.”

  1. All five story lines would be interesting and like to see all of them. There two that intrigue me the most, Ken and Alistair. I might have to split my vote between them. I want to know why Ryder caged Ken up and how he escapes and Alistair stopping Damian would be interesting. Just because I don’t like the guy and want to see him stopped, go Alistair!

    • For the most part, the stories will intertwine, you’ll just be experiencing them from a different character’s point of view depending on who is chosen. They each have their own little story arcs in between the main storyline.

  2. So, I still have to get all caught up on this story (it’s slow going because I can get rather busy) but I think that I shall cast a vote in the meantime. Who to pick though… *Scratches chin* All the stories seem rather interesting..!
