I want to thank Twinsimskeletons for nominating my blog for this award 🙂
What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?
It’s an award for bloggers from other bloggers, a beautiful way to share all the amazing things other bloggers do and write about. It is a way to recognize their efforts in inspiring others to do what they love.
Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you and add a link to their blog.
2. Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
3. Nominate 11 bloggers and add their links.
4. Notify the bloggers you included.
5. Keep the rules in your post.
[I copy and pasted that from Twin’s post :p I think that;s the rules right, haha?]
Questions:
1.What or who inspired you to start writing SimLit?
I don’t know if I can pinpoint it to a specific thing, but it was only a few years ago that I started. I saw the storytelling section of the forums and thought, really, why not? It’s no surprise tat I love writing. I can tell you that my first story was supposed to be a variation of Escape Pennbrook Estate though 😉
2. What’s your favourite animal?
Puppies!!!!!!
3. Do you have a favourite trope in writing?
Childhood best friends falling in love… *looks away* I mean there’s probably more but that’s the first that came into my mind lol.
4. Do you have a least favourite trope/cliche in writing?
Definitely that a female character can’t get something done. She backs herself into a corner and a very handsome man has to save her and she falls in love. Female characters can save themselves, you know! *Just look at Charlotte*
5. Do you write other stories outside of sims?
Yes, constantly. I write video games (my game dev blog is here) and also some personal prose stuff :p
6. Do you play any other computer/console games?
Tons. Video games are a huge part of my life. So, if you need a recommendation, let me know! [You know, I also make video games!]
7. How long have you been writing using the sims games?
I think I started in April of 2014, so I’ll almost be hitting three years.
8. Do you have a favourite story line in the legacy/story you’re working on?
Yeah, of course! A Graying World is very intricate, and it has multiple story lines running within it at any given moment. Currently, I really love the Moonlight Falls arc with Alistair and Declan but also anything Charlotte is involved in.
9.Do you listen to music while you write?
Yep, I’m listening to music now lol Sometimes it’s the radio and sometimes it’s instrumental. Depends on the mood and what I’m writing.
10.What book has most impacted you in the last couple of years, and why?
Books??? I don’t have an answer to this, to be honest. Contrary to popular belief (that all writers must read a lot) I experience stories in a different way. My method of consumption is video games and two that have impacted me are The Last of Us for showing me that video games can have very deep storylines but also Dragon Age because it is what inspired me to make my own video games.
11.Do you have any writing rituals?
Kinda, but not really? I listen to music, but there isn’t anything specific I have to do to write. My mind is kind of always in writing mode.
The rules are to tag 11 people and post 11 questions, but this award has been floating around for a while, so I won’t circulate it to the same people that I know have done this a million times before. So, for that check out the “Other Great Stories” tab and the other awards I have received for this blog to see who has some amazing stories to read :p Thanks again Twinssimskeletons!
Oooh the last of us is my favorite video game of all time ❤

You’re welcome!! It’s cool how other people have come into sims writing. That was largely how my writing developed and got better because i’m trash and have been doing this for six years now. Oh boy. Lil fifteen year old Carys trying to write drama stories about vampires, how precious!

Awww I wish I would have even thought about sims writing years ago. I came into the community and some people had literally been doing it for 9 years! Though I can say it has helped improve my writing immensely and I met a very interesting group of people!
